There are several types of volunteers needed at A Safe Place.

Office Work

Volunteers provide occasional clerical assistance such as folding brochures, stuffing envelopes and other projects as needed.

Outreach Activities

Volunteers are needed to deliver brochures and posters. We also need help planning and executing outreach activities such as information tables, child art projects, and awareness month activities (October, April & May).

Fundraising

Volunteers are needed to help with fundraising events and solicitations.

Court Advocacy

Volunteers attend District and Probate Court to provide support and information to people in domestic-abuse situations. Training required.

Safe Home Providers

Volunteers provide short-term emergency shelter in their homes for victims of abuse. Training required.
