What Safe Place has been up to…

Executive Director, Jennifer Frazee, celebrated her15th year with A Safe Place last month. Thank you for your dedication to our mission, Jennifer! Cheers to many more years!

A Safe Place staff are moving on up! Congratulations to Crystal, Frejae, and Suzanne who all received promotions during the month of  August. Crystal Mautner is our new Supervised Visitation Program Manager. Frejae Burrows is our new Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Program Manager, and Suzanne Fronzuto is our newest Senior Advocate. A Safe Place is so lucky to have these longer term staff who are all so dedicated to the work we do.

Additionally, A Safe Place is excited to announce that staff member, Iris Shore, has transitioned into the new position of Community Engagement & Housing Search Coordinator. This is the first time that A Safe Place has a staff member specifically addressing how to accessing and sustain safe housing options with a focus on preventing homelessness. We are very excited about this new position.   Congratulations ladies! Not pictured: Suzanne

And…   We’re Hiring!   Director of Development
A Safe Place is seeking a Director of Development, ideally a fulltime position. This individual will lead a transition from a Board only Development Committee to a Staff directed Development function. This individual will work closely with the Executive Director (ED) and the Board’s Development Committee to assume increasing responsibility for the organization’s fundraising activities and its donor relations and stewardship.

Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Advocate
A Safe Place is seeking to expand its staff by hiring a new year-round,
part-time Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Advocate. Position
requires case management and advocacy services for survivors and their
non-offending family members. Do others consider you to be caring &
compassionate? Do you know someone who has experienced abuse and
as a result you want to help? Are you looking for a rewarding part-time
position? If any of these apply, you may be the perfect person.
Lots of training available!

A Safe Place is committed to building a diverse and inclusive work
environment and is most interested in finding the best candidate for the
job and for the organization. That candidate may be one who comes from background less traditional to our field of work, and that is ok. We encourage all interested individuals to apply.
